GOODYEAR ASSURANCE
The Goodyear Assurance All-Season, released in mid-2014, is aimed squarely at the value-conscious vehicle owner looking for an all-season tire from a trusted name brand. With that in mind, Goodyear created the Assurance All-Season for all types of coupes, sedans and minivans.

Goodyear has taken an all-season tread compound and matched it to a symmetric tread pattern for dependable year-round traction. The tire’s larger independent shoulder blocks are designed to promote more responsive handling on dry or wet road surfaces.

Four wide circumferential grooves channel away water on wet pavement, while multiple biting edges are used to help with grip on snow, slush and ice. The added sipes do their job in most conditions up to a point. In deeper amounts of snow you may find traction a bit more difficult.

An optimized tread pattern is designed to assist in lowering road noise and creating a smoother overall ride, which is a plus for this tire.

Inside the tire are two steel belts with a polyester cord body that add more strength and durability to the tire. Goodyear has 14-17 inch sizes available, and all sizes are covered by a 65,000 mile tread warranty.
